Super Hotel Ueno-Okachimachi

The front desk staff were all such pleasant people to talk to and so helpful. This was my first time in Japan and they eased me through checking in and helping me with everything I needed to know. And their English was so good! The rooms were clean, bathrooms have everything you need, and the breakfast was delicious. Location also was wonderful!! Absolutely willing to come back if I return in the future

Staff was kind and helpful. Overall, comfy and worth it for the location.

One of two rooms fell short on cleanliness a little bit - dusty floor, bathroom.

Amazing breakfast buffet & allowing us to pack food for later in the day.

Only one elevator can be challenging when busy. Also, the dryers in the laundry room did not work well.

The location of the hotel was incredible. It was very close to 5 metro line (1 to 5 minutes walk) and only 16 minutes walk to Ueno park. Ameyokocho is only 2 walking blocks from the hotel. The staff was also very nice and helpful.I like that they give you everyday a new batch of clean towels and a bottle of water without you needing to ask for those things.

The rooms were a bit small (but I guess they were the standard size for Japan). So it wasn't a real issue.

Breakfast good and location good.

Room size

Literally beside the subway entrance. The JR station is a street away. Free drinks at night. Safe area for solo travelers.

The location is good. Breakfast and beverage hospitality was so welcome. The breakfast ends at 9am so that might be a minor challenge. The room was snug but not too much so and was still comfortable.

Close to train station close to restaurant and room are clean value for money.

Excellent location with easy access to all the major lines we well as walkable to many sites like Sensoji, Akihabara, etc

One elevator can be frustrating during peak hours. If you get a higher floor for quieter rooms, you may have longer waits for the elevator

Great location, easy airport transportation.Nice breakfast though don't expect much of the western dishes.Hotel policy is no room cleaning unless asked, you get a daily change of towels that are left outside your room. It's a 3 star hotel you get what you pay for which is fine.

Good location, staff was very professional and helpful. Ample room space compared to other economic options. Not far from Ueno Park/Station, so it is very well connected.

It felt a bit more “low cost” than I expected for the price. The bed pillow was hard and they have a limited stock of softer pillows which you need to retrieve yourself from the reception area. If there are none available, tough luck.

Location , friendly staff

Breakfast

Breakfast buffet. Close to public transit. Spacious bed and room. Washer and dryer available. Easy checkout. Helpful and friendly staff.

Small bathroom, but it's enough. Only one small elevator for entire hotel. Only 2 pairs of washer and driers.

This hotel is perfect for people visiting Tokyo. Located on the Yamanote, Asakusa, and Hibiya lines visitors have unparalleled direct access to most places you'd be inclined to visit. During the month that I stayed here, the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the accomodation was comfortable for a long term stay.

The hotel location was excellent. Steps away from one of the entrances of the Okachimachi train stop.. TONS of yakiniku and yakitori restaurants nearby.. The breakfast here was so good as well. Be sure to grab your personalized pillow and PJ's offered at the front of reception. Reception was also able to help with shipping our luggage to our 3rd hotel.Room wasn't huge but adequate and large enough for our needs. The bed was very firm and the extra pillow which I grabbed from reception really added to our comfort. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit next year!

Very small place near Ueno. But the location and price make up for it.

Tiny bathroom with same pipe for shower and sink

Proximity to metro stations & comparatively bigger room than apa. Convince store right next to hotel & other eating place.

Breakfast was average & coffee from the machine isn't good.

location was great and a just a short walk from the train stationstaff was really nice and helpfulbreakfast was goodroom was clean and decently sized and comfortable for me as a solo traveler

only bad thing i can say is that the bed and pillows were somewhat uncomfotable for my liking but other than that the place is great.

Horrible long hard bean filled pillow in the room on entry….but…had soft pillows offered in the lobby…thankfully!

The location is very good, just a few minis walk to Okachimachi station (Yamanote line), can also walk to Ameyoko market and very closed to Ueno, the hotel is clean and very comfortable.I got the special price and it very value for the money, I would like to stay again.
